Our friends at Reside have branched out into Boston’s South End, at 1409 Washington Street. I love the Cambridge store in Huron Willage, because it is a 15-minute drive from my house and I can grab slices of what might be Boston’s best pizza west of Santarpio’s, at the Village Kitchen. While it is fun to peruse the Cambridge Store, it is small. The South End outpost will expand the floor space. The new location features iconic works by some of the 20th Century’s best designers and manufacturers
such as Dunbar, Herman Miller, Nakashima, Vladimir Kagan, Milo Baughman; hard-to-find, out of production pieces by design titans like Knoll and Eames. It has been the number one place we refer clients to when they are looking to fill their new mid-century-mod houses with a few choice authentic pieces.
